The Lander Family Scholarships have been established exclusively for dependents and spouses of full-time Lander employees. The scholarships are funded by The Lander Foundation and are awarded on a first-come, first-served basis while funds are available. They are renewable up to 3 additional years with good academic standing and apply to traditional, online and graduate programs at Lander. Dual credit students are not eligible. Qualifying students are eligible to receive $2,000 per year for full-time or $500 per year for part-time. To be eligible, the student:

• Must be the legal dependent (conventional or adopted) or spouse of a full-time Lander University employee and complete the Lander Family Scholarship Application.
• Must be eligible for admission to Lander as either a full-time or part-time degree-seeking student for the semester in which they apply for the scholarship.

As a state government employee, Lander staff are eligible to receive discounted rates or service upgrades for cell phone plans on several mobile networks.

You have to ask for the discount and go through an authorization/enrollment process, but after that, you'll get a 15-25% discount each month on your bill.
