Transportation

1. Passengers must show the shuttle bus operator a valid Lander University ID to board the bus.
2. Guests of students must go by LUPD for a VISITOR’s bus pass to board the bus.
3. No amplified radios, cell phones, or devices like will be permitted. Headphones/ear buds are required for all cell phones, iPads and/or similar sources of music/video/sound.
4. No loud talking or speakerphone conversations while riding the bus.
5. Tobacco products are not permitted. No alcohol is permitted. Passengers shall not board the shuttle in an intoxicated condition.
6. No food or drinks are to be consumed while aboard the shuttle. All food and drinks must be sealed.
7. No disruptive behavior or inappropriate language is permitted.
8. The shuttle will follow the designated route and stop at the designated areas. No unauthorized stops or requests for such stops are permitted. Excluding redirection due to extenuating circumstances (i.e. traffic accident, weather, etc.).
9. Pets or Support Animals are not permitted. Service animals are allowed.
10. Neither Lander University nor the shuttle bus operator is responsible for articles left on the bus. Items found by the shuttle bus operator will be taken to the University Police Department on campus.
11. No weapons are permitted and are subject to criminal charges and policy violations.
12. No flammable substances.
13. No containers, bags, or packages that will block any aisles, emergency exits, or stairway are allowed on the shuttle bus.
14. No littering, discarding, or depositing any trash, debris, or offensive substances.
15. No spitting, urinating, or defecating.
16. No damaging, writing upon, or otherwise defacing or altering property.
17. No fighting or engaging in any violent, tumultuous, or threatening behavior.
18. No canvassing, soliciting, or distributing pamphlets or other documents unless authorized by a University official.
19. No gambling or soliciting others to engage in gambling.
20. Do not engage in any activity prohibited by the State, County, or Local law as well as University rules and regulations.
21. No running or engaging in any horseplay.
22. Refusing to leave a Shuttle Bus after having been ordered to do so by the operator of the vehicle or a University official will result in disciplinary action and/or criminal action.
