Move-In Information

Move-In will be abuzz with new faces, excitement, and hopes for a strong start to the semester and, for the freshmen, the next four years. Before you unload that first box, here are some things you need to know. 



New Student move-in will take place Wednesday, August 14 and Thursday, August 15. Returning Student move-in will run Friday, August 16 and Saturday, August 17. Move-in will be by appointment times ONLY. On July 1, students will be able to sign-up for an appointment time in the Housing Portal within MyLander.

Move-in appointments may be scheduled via the Housing Portal beginning on July 1. Please go to MyLander – Housing Portal – Move-In Appointment. This will be a 15 minute time frame in which you will pick up your room key from the tent. You will then have the rest of the day to move-in.


Key pick-up will be drive-up and contactless. At your appointment time, you will enter campus via the main entrance off of Montague Avenue and proceed to the fountain in front of the Cultural Center. Signage will point you in the right direction: look for the tents! Drive up and one of our staff will issue you a key and move-in packet. Afterwards you will go to your residence hall to move-in.

Fully Furnished Rooms

Each living space is air conditioned and well equipped with the furniture you need to get settled in. No need to setup utilities or worrying about paying monthly bills - we've got it all taken care of. All you need to do is bring some linen and other personal items from home to make it your own.
