LINK 101

LINK 101 is a required course for all incoming freshmen at Lander University.

This course provides academic and co-curricular experiences for freshmen that will establish a firm foundation upon which students can build the skills, knowledge, and values essential for success in higher education and the world beyond.

Through the various assignments completed for this course, our goal is that students will develop:

  1. the intellectual, skill, and interpersonal competencies necessary for college success;
  2. an autonomous and responsible emotional, intellectual, and social integration into college life;
  3. a self-determined system of meaning and values; and,
  4. a commitment to exploring and pursuing life goals.
