Employee Assistance Program (EAP)

Lander University is committed to the well-being of our faculty and staff. We understand how challenging it may be balancing work with the circumstances of everyday life. LifeServices EAP, an AllOne Health company, is available to anyone who feels they may need support and resources related to certain personal or work-related challenges that may occur. There is no cost to utilize this service and is also available to family members of each employee.

LifeServices has a team of highly trained and qualified professionals who are experts in fields such as well-being, family matters, relationships, debt management, and much more. They provide confidential professional assessment, referral assistance, in-person, virtual, and telephonic counseling services with licensed professional counselors.

EAP Access

You may reach LifeServices through their toll-free number, 800-822-4847 or you may visit their website, https://allonehealth.com/life-services-eap/. You may login under the section "Website Services Login" by creating a username and password for an abundance of available resources on their webpage. Types of Services

Employees and their immediate household members have access to the following types of services:

When employees and household members call the EAP, they are offered a counseling session in which a thorough assessment will be conducted by a licensed, experienced clinician in their area.

Counseling appointments can be conducted on the phone or face-to-face, covering the following areas:

Short-term individual, family, couples and group counseling, which includes up to four sessions per person, per issue, per year, at no cost to employees and their immediate household members
On-site trainings - supervisory, wellness, EAP orientations, health fairs, management consultations, etc.
Monthly online training and seminars
Work-life services including legal and financial, or child and elder referrals
Unlimited management and supervisory consultation

Telephone and web-based legal resources
Free 30-minute appointment for a legal consultation with a local attorney
In most cases, 25% discount on ongoing legal services
Legal forms available to download such as wills, power of attorney, etc.

As part of our EAP and Work-Life Services, we offer online training programs that are available 24/7. Additional monthly online seminars are offered live during the month. The seminars address a different personal development topic each month.

Cost

Except for fees associated with the purchase of legal documents, the EAP provides up to four counseling sessions per person, per issue, per year at no cost to university faculty, staff and their immediate household members.

Confidentiality

All EAP benefits are as confidential as the law allows. The university has no need or desire to know who uses these services, nor will anyone have access to any information without your consent. The only exceptions are when someone's safety is in question. The university's EAP provider does submit statistical reports to the university, but no names or identifying information are ever included in these reports.
