About Zeta Tau Alpha - Iota Omicron, Lander University:

The purpose of Zeta Tau Alpha is to intensify friendship, promote happiness among its members, and in every way to create such sentiments; to perform such deeds, and to mold such opinions as will conduce to the building up of a nobler and purer womanhood in the world.

In support of their philanthropy, Breast Cancer Education and Awareness, ZTA hosts their annual Pink Out Week on Lander's campus within the month of October! They also raise funds for their philanthropy through hosting spirit and percent nights at local restaurants, their annual Miss Crown For a Cure Pageant, and the Crown Classic Golf Tournament, all of which takes place right here in Greenwood, South Carolina!

Zeta Tau Alpha also makes it their mission to give back to their local community. Sisters of ZTA partake in multiple community service projects throughout the year, such as hosting spa/game nights at Bowers Rodgers Children's home, working with United Way, volunteering at Connie Maxwell Children's Home, donating items to the Self-Regional Hospital Cancer Center, and building homes with Habitat for Humanity. Zeta Tau Alpha is proud to say that their members have completed over 500 community service hours within the 2017-2018 school year alone!
