As we continue to build the Department of Student Life, student organizations are one of our main priorities. Leadership development is vital to the success and sustainability of each Organization on our campus. Below are the steps that must be completed if you are interested in starting a new organization on campus.

How to Start a New Organization?

    1. Reach out to the Department of Student Life regarding your interest. Set up an appointment with us and choose New Student Organization Information (Click here to set up an appointment)
    2. Future groups will need at least 5 Lander students to participate and must have an on-campus advisor. You may have up to 3 interest meetings prior to approval.
    3. Create a constitution. Please reach out to the Department of Student Life for examples.
    4. You will need to keep a roster of the new members to include their L#’s and emails.
    5. Complete the New Club request form. Click here to access the form.
    6. Await for approval from the Department of Student Life. Once approved, please follow any instructions given by the department.
