At Lander University, we make applying to college simple. Below is more information about Lander admissions and the services we offer to help you complete your application, understand the process, and make a successful transition to the University.

All students are encouraged to apply for admission to Lander.  Because student success depends in large part upon readiness, the university reserves admissions to those students who can demonstrate adequate preparation for higher education either through appropriate GPA or through previous success at another postsecondary institution.

When will I receive a decision?

Applications are reviewed and decisions are made on a rolling basis. Students typically receive information about their admission status approximately two to three weeks after all materials are received in the Office of Admissions (application, fee, transcripts, and optional test score).

How do I reserve my space at Lander?

Lander will send a Commit Card in your acceptance packet. This will confirm your intent to enroll at Lander.  Students must return the card to the Office of Admissions by May 1 or email admissions@lander.edu. All accepted students who are confirmed and registered for housing by May 1 are guaranteed housing.

Whom should I contact if I have a question?

A Lander Admission Counselor is available to assist with questions related to applying and enrolling. To locate your counselor, call 1-888-4LANDER or e-mail admissions@lander.edu.
