Whether you're looking to play a pick-up game of basketball or focus on your fitness, Campus Recreation has the space for you.

Known as PEES to many Lander students, the Joe V. Chandler Center is the campus hub for all indoor recreation. The facility offers a student fitness center, a gym with 3 full-size basketball courts, an indoor walking track, racquetball courts and an aerobics/dance studio.
Dive into fun at our outdoor pool, perfect for swimming laps or simply relaxing in the sun. The pool area is complemented by a shaded pavilion where you can take a break, hang out with friends, or enjoy a snack. It's an ideal spot to unwind during the warmer months and a great place for organized aquatic activities.
For those who love outdoor sports, our well-maintained tennis and basketball courts are the perfect setting. Whether you're challenging a friend to a friendly tennis match or shooting hoops with a group, these courts offer the space and equipment you need for an energetic game under the open sky.
Grab your sunglasses and hit the sand! Our Sand Volleyball Court offers a relaxed yet competitive environment for students to enjoy this popular beach sport. Whether you're a casual player or aspiring pro, this court is the perfect place to enjoy the outdoors while staying active with friends.
Disc golf players can make their way around the 18-hole course by paying attention to signs placed around campus. Players can also get a look at the course from the course map on this site.
Disc golf discs and accessories can be purchased in the Bearcat Shop. Scorecards can also be found in the store or printed off right here. There are two different tee boxes on some holes, separating the course into two levels of play - blue (easiest) and gold (harder) as seen on the scorecard.
Our Intramural Field provides a spacious and versatile area for organized sports and recreational games. Whether it’s soccer, flag football, or ultimate frisbee, this field is the home base for our intramural leagues, fostering friendly competition and community spirit among students.
