First-Year Freshmen are new and incoming students that have not attended College after High School graduation.
New students are required to attend and complete the first-year freshman orientation program. Our program consists of two components:
Lander University Orientation course: The course will give you nuggets of information that will assist you prior to Orientation. The course is open and additional information was sent by email to all admitted students. This session can be found on Blackboard. You will need to use your Lander credentials to enter the platform to complete your information.
First-Year Orientation session: All students are required to attend an orientation program. During orientation, you will meet with specific members of the campus community from various offices and academic departments. You will have an opportunity to review your schedule and meet with your Student Success Advisor and connect with your classmates.
