Welcome to Lander University’s Experiencing History Lab (EHL)! This lab, a part of the Department of History and Philosophy and under the direction of Dr. Franklin Rausch, is a collaborative effort between faculty and students to help people learn history through experience. Such experience can take a variety of forms, such as games, living history and simulation. The EHL does this by creating historical experiences and disseminating them so that other people can experience history, too.
Games & Simulations
Put yourself right in the middle of history with games and simulations that can be played in the classroom. These games typically make use of cards, dice and boards. Each game includes links to the files needed to play the game, as well as instructional videos.
