Our B.A. in Visual Art is a versatile liberal arts degree with maximum flexibility and elective opportunity. It is designed for students who wish to add a minor, a second major or a K–12 certification at the undergraduate level. Our B.A. majors learn art business skills and professional practices to prepare them for a broad range of career options within the multi-billion dollar creative economy.
What Our B.A. Looks Like
Our unique B.A. program provides students with a strong foundation in 2D and 3D composition followed by core introductory studio classes in a broad range of disciplines.
Then, the versatile nature of the B.A. degree allows students to take junior and senior studio classes in any media to support their interests in drawing, painting, photography, ceramics, sculpture and mixed media. Students must meet minimum progress requirements at each level.
