Therapeutic Horsemanship Minor
To obtain a minor in Therapeutic Horsemanship, students must complete between 19 to 20 hours of credit in courses from two disciplines in the following distribution:
- EXSC 199: Adult CPR and First Aid (or evidence of certification)
- EXSC 210: Human Anatomy/Movement
- SPED 150: Basics of Therapeutic Horsemanship
- SPED 223: PreK-12 Students with Diverse Leaning Needs
or PETE 420: Exceptional Physical Education for Special Populations - SPED 250: Principles of Therapeutic Horsemanship
- SPED 260: Therapeutic Horse Movement
- SPED 270: Therapeutic Horsemanship Program
