Haleigh Tomlin


Haleigh Tomlin
Miss Lander 2025

Twenty-two-year-old Haleigh Tomlin is a junior here at Lander University, majoring in Media and Communications. Haleigh hopes to work for Ellucian, a higher education software company, in media relations or events planning. She is involved in Lander’s chapter of Gamma Phi Beta, the Miss South Carolina Organization, and South Carolina 4-H. Haleigh is the daughter of Aubrey and Donnie Tomlin and is originally from Gray Court, South Carolina.

 

 

Savannah Williams

Twenty-two-year-old Savannah Madison Williams is a senior here at Lander University majoring in nursing. Savannah has accepted a position as a nurse in the Emergency Room at Self Regional Healthcare and will begin working after graduation. In the future, she hopes to pursue a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) degree with the goal of opening her own functional medicine office where she can focus on holistic, preventive care and help her patients achieve long-term wellness. Savannah is involved in a nonprofit that she founded in 2021 called Flights for Freedom. This organization helps active duty military members travel home for the holidays by providing financial assistance for airfare.  Savannah is the daughter of Craig and Stacie Williams and is originally from Chesnee, South Carolina.  

 

 

Kendall Bohn

Twenty-year-old Kendall Grace Bohn is a senior here at Lander University majoring in Early Childhood Education. As a future educator, Kendall is committed to creating an inclusive, nurturing classroom where all her students feel valued, seen, and supported. Her goal is to graduate in May of 2026 and pursue her career in education. She also looks forward to growing a family alongside her career. Here at Lander, Kendall is a member of Teaching Fellows, serves as treasurer for Phi Mu, and is part of Lander Intramural’s. Kendall is the daughter of Casie and Justin Bohn and is originally from Lancaster, South Carolina.

Twenty-year-old Amelia Beasley is a senior here at Lander University majoring in Business Administration with a Pre- law minor. Her goal for the future is to attend law school and pursue a doctorate of juris prudence to one day own her own firm as a practicing attorney. Amelia is Lander’s Student Body President, Resident Assistant Director, a member of Lander University’s Honor College, and a member of Gamma Phi Beta. Amelia also plays on Lander’s Women’s Rugby team and hosts a podcast Fatal Fables. Amelia is the daughter of Lisa and Terry Beasley.

Twenty two year old Cassidy (Cass) Rylan Childress is a senior here at Lander University majoring in marketing and management. Her plans for the future include working in the music industry by designing album covers and merchandise for rock and metal bands. Cass hopes this will allow her the opportunity to travel ans explore the world while listening to great music. Cass has been involved in Lander’s Greek Life for over three years, cheered for three years. She currently serves as a student worker for Campus Engagement and runs the Lander Students instagram. She also works with a team of professionals with the marketing and communications department to run Lander University’s social media. She is the daughter of Sandra and William Childress and is originally from Ware Shoals, South Carolina.

Twenty-one-year-old Ashley Olivo Hernandez is a senior here at Lander University and is double majoring in psychology and Spanish. Her goals for the future include becoming a school psychologist or counselor. She hopes to use her second language to dismantle the barriers of communication and help to make a positive difference in children’s lives. Ashley is involved with Lander’s Catholics Association and Somos LU. She is the daughter of Miguel Olivo and Laura Hernandez.

Nineteen-year-old Christine Johnson (Chrissy) is a freshman here at Lander University majoring in Psychology. Her goal for the future is to become a child psychologist and pursue medical school at MUSC after graduating from Lander. Chrissy is a member of Lander University’s Pep Band and plays in Lander’s Wind Ensemble. Chrissy is the daughter of Keri and Art Johnson.

Twenty-one-year-old Autumn Nicole Lockhart is a senior here at Lander University. Her major’s include Early Childhood Education and Spanish, and she hopes to pursue a career in teaching at the Elementary level. Autumn is involved in Lander’s chapter of Kappa Delta Pi, the Educational Honor Society, a member of Sigma Delta Pi, a member of the Spanish National Honor Society, and served as former President and as a member of the Palmetto State Teachers Association. She is the daughter of Jerry and Christy Lockhart and is originally from Chesnee, South Carolina.
