Our mission is to develop young leaders through academic study and self-reflection so that they can take control of their corner of the world.
Here at Lander University, we understand how intimidating it can be to pursue leadership roles with limited experience. The Lander Leadership Program (LLP) is a series of one credit, low stress classes that give students the tools and experience to become leaders in every area of their life. These courses walk students through leadership as it pertains to the individual, the team, the world, your legacy.
The LLP 101 and 103 courses are offered in the Fall semester, and LLP 102 and 104 are offered in the Spring semester.
Our mission is to develop young leaders through academic study and self-reflection so that they can take control of their corner of the world.
This program is offered through the Department of Campus Engagement and is open to all students of any area of study.
For further questions please contact Katie Littleton at klittleton@lander.edu.
The title of Bearcat Emerging Leader is a distinction awarded to students who have completed the Lander Leadership Program (LLP) courses and presented their research in a capstone-style presentation at Lander Pathfinders. To further distinguish these Emerging Leaders, students with this title are given a medallion to be worn at Graduation.
This distinction is awarded by the Department of Campus Engagement and is open to all students of any area of study.
