Leadership Development

We strive to educate current and future student leaders so that they can effectively manage conflict, empower others, communicate, and achieve their desired goals.

Lander Leadership Program

Providing formal education in leadership is an enriching, desirable dimension of a liberal arts higher education at Lander University. The Lander Leadership Program (LLP) is a series of one credit, low stress classes that challenges students to analyze leadership practices in themselves and others, define their personal leadership style, and explore how to lead a variety of settings. Currently there are two levels of LLP available, each themed around a different leadership topic. This program is offered through the Department of Student Life and we welcome any student to join our class, no application necessary. For further questions please contact Demario Watts, Director of Student Life and Orientation Programs at dwatts@lander.edu.
