Lander University’s Public Health program is designed to prepare graduates to support communities and populations in promoting health, preventing disease and managing illness and disabilities. A bachelor of science degree in public health gives you the knowledge and skills necessary to understand and work on a wide range of issues in a variety of industries and fields.
Providing focus to the broader Public Health major, the Genetic Health Studies (GHS) concentration and certificate programs are designed to prepare graduates to work in clinical support roles in genetic healthcare settings — or, with additional coursework in the sciences, to pursue graduate education for genetic counseling.
