Exercise Science, Pre-Athletic Training Concentration

You are passionate about working with athletes and active individuals to prevent injuries, optimize performance, and safely return them to activity. If you're passionate about sports medicine, rehabilitation, and performance enhancement, the Exercise Science, Pre-Athletic Training concentration is designed for you.

You'll build expertise in anatomy, biomechanics, exercise physiology, nutrition, athletic training, clinical exercise physiology, and strength and conditioning while completing internships and applied learning experiences. This curriculum prepares students for admission to professional Master of Athletic Training (MAT) programs while providing valuable opportunities to work with athletes and physically active populations.

Graduates develop the scientific knowledge, clinical reasoning, and practical skills needed to continue toward careers in sports medicine and athletic healthcare.
