The Value of the MSM

  • The MSM is a specialized degree program offering in-depth skills for managers of an organization. The Master’s in Business Administration, by contrast, is a broader, less specialized program.
  • Demand for specialized masters programs in business is on the rise, according to the GMAC Application Trends Survey Report 2017.

  • The MSM is a great way for new or recent graduates to accelerate their career path to management roles and greater levels of responsibility.
  • The MSM does not require professional experience although it is open to young professionals who have been working for some time.

Why an MSM from Lander?

  • Quality Management focus including Six Sigma. The MSM develops managerial skills and provides in depth knowledge of management functions.
  • Accredited by AACSB. All academic programs in the College of Business fall under the accreditation by the Association to Advance the Collegiate Schools of Business International (AACSB).
  • Online, 30-credit program. The online delivery provides an opportunity for employed graduate students to complete a Master’s degree by completing the program without the requirement to come to campus at specified times.
  • 12-month completion time for full-time students. With the 8-week course schedule and two 8-week sessions each fall and each spring and 6 credit hours in the summer, a full-time student may complete the program in 12 months. Students may also complete the program on a part-time basis.
