Miss Lander Pageant

A beloved Lander tradition returns as students take the stage to compete for the title of Miss Lander University!

For generations of Bearcats, the Miss Lander Pageant has celebrated the confidence, talent, leadership, and spirit of Lander women. Contestants representing organizations and groups from across campus will continue that tradition as they compete in categories including interview, talent, evening wear, and campus involvement—all leading to the crowning of the next Miss Lander. The coronated Miss Lander will be eligible to participate in the Miss South Carolina pageant.

More than a crown, the title of Miss Lander University represents a long-standing tradition of campus involvement, leadership, and Bearcat pride.

The pageant also serves as the annual fundraiser for Lander’s chapter of the National Association for Music Education (NAfME). Before pageant night, friends, family, and fellow Bearcats can support their favorite contestant by casting votes for the People’s Choice Award through Givebutter. Each vote supports NAfME while helping one contestant earn this special recognition.

Join us for an evening of tradition, talent, and Bearcat pride as we celebrate this year’s contestants and crown the next Miss Lander University.
