At Lander University, our Bass Fishing program is one of the fastest-rising teams in the nation. Competing in both B.A.S.S and Major League Fishing (MLF) circuits, our anglers proudly represent Bearcat Nation at the highest levels of collegiate bass fishing.
Though only entering its fifth season as an athletic program, Lander Bass Fishing is already outperforming many long-established teams. Our program is well ahead of the typical development curve, establishing itself as a national powerhouse in record time.
In 2024-25 alone, Lander qualified 16 boats to national championships across all three major national- level trails, a milestone that reflects both the talent and depth of our roster.
