The community is invited to join the Department of Music at Lander University for the annual Collage Concert on campus. This performance will take place Tuesday, March 24, at 7 p.m. in the Abney Cultural Center Auditorium, and is free and open to the public.
Held each spring, the Department of Music’s Collage Concert features rapid-succession performances by Lander’s ensembles. The department is home to several large ensembles, including the Lander Chamber Orchestra, the Jazz Ensemble, the University Singers and the Wind Ensemble; as well as smaller ensembles, including the Chamber Ensemble, the Piano Ensemble, the Old Main Singers, the Opera Workshop and the Lander Pep Band. Together, these groups give dozens of performances on campus and in the community each academic year.
