Lander University’s 2026 Homecoming King and Queen were crowned Saturday, Feb. 7, wrapping up a Homecoming week full of activities for students and alumni.
Homecoming King for 2026 is Jamari Benjamin, representing the cheer team. Benjamin is a freshman nursing major from Hartsville. The 2026 Homecoming Queen is Zoe Flanagan, also representing the cheer team. Flanagan is a senior psychology major from Mount Pleasant. The two were crowned by Lander President Richard Cosentino and Dr. Amanda Darden, vice president for student experience and quality assurance.
Homecoming week also concluded with the announcement of the winners of the annual Bearcat Cup, awarded to the participating student teams with the most points following a week of competitions. This year’s winner in the blue division is Kappa Sigma and the winning team in the gold division is Zeta Tau Alpha and Delta Sigma Phi.
