The community is invited to join the Department of Art for a reception with student artists featured in the 2026 Student Juried Exhibition Thursday, Feb. 5 at 5 p.m. in the Lander Art Gallery on the first floor of Jackson Library. Artwork from this exhibition will be on display through Tuesday, Feb. 17. The reception and visits to the gallery are free and open to the public.
The Lander University Student Juried Exhibition showcases Lander students’ artwork in a diverse and expressive installation. Categories of artistic media include ceramics, computer graphics, drawing, painting, printmaking, photography and sculpture. Students are allowed to submit three works with no more than two submissions per category. An independent juror will select individual works from all entries for installation in the exhibit. Compositions submitted will be judged and selected for prizes and an award for best in show.
