Lander Education Students Receive Send-Off from Faculty

Graduates of Lander University’s College of Education are entering a field to be among some of the most impactful members of the community, according to Dr. Stephen Bismarck, dean of the college.
On the eve of their graduation, members of the Lander Class of 2025 received their pins, cords and stoles during the college’s pinning ceremony. Bismarck remarked on the lessons learned during college and said the students inspired him.
Nineteen students received their pins during the ceremony. Recipients include, in their respective programs:
Education and Child Development: Blondie Penaflor and Kalanie Stowers.
Early Childhood Education: Grayson Brock, Hope Crosby, Madison Faulkner, Nevaeh Gillian, Perrin Hazel, Brooke Kelly, Malena Lizardo and Alexandra Michelle Thomasson.
Elementary Education: Alejandra Boyd, Elizabeth Cutter, Taylin Hall and Savannah Vinson.
Special Education: Jenna Calvert and Emily Hibbs.
Middle-Level Education: Quadaija Langley (Mathematics) and Emily Folk (Science).
