Lander University’s Old Main Singers to Perform at First Baptist of Greenwood

The Department of Music at Lander University invites the Greenwood and Lander communities to attend a concert performed by the Old Main Singers Sunday, Nov. 16, at 4 p.m. The concert will take place in the sanctuary of First Baptist Church of Greenwood, and is free and open to the public.

The Old Main Singers are under the direction of Prof. Keith Jameson, director of choral activities at Lander. Over a 30-year performing career, Jameson sang over 14 seasons with the Metropolitan Opera in New York City, opportunities and roles that opened to him after two summers in the Santa Fe Opera Apprentice Program and six seasons at New York City Opera.

Jameson has also performed with groups including the New York Philharmonic, Los Angeles Philharmonic at the Hollywood Bowl, Phoenix Symphony, Berkshire Bach Society at Tanglewood Music Center, Seattle Opera, San Francisco Opera, Houston Grand Opera and Lyric Opera of Chicago.
