Before Lander University’s education students head to their own classrooms to teach, their academic achievements are a cause for celebration.

The annual Pinning Ceremony for the College of Education on Tuesday, May 6 showcased students who have been successful in the classroom during their time at Lander. Along with the presentation of awards, graduating seniors received undergraduate pins.

“These graduates are adept at adaptation, as they can quickly adjust to changing circumstances and new information,” said Dr. Sarah Hunt-Barron, dean of the College of Education.

“They work hard to reach their goals but also recognize the importance of balance in their own lives, making space for friends and family as well as meaningful work. The graduates on this stage inspire me.”
