Lander University’s student leaders were celebrated for their contributions to the campus and community on April 16.
The annual Campus Engagement Awards held in Finis Horne Arena showcased the accomplishments of student leaders outside of the classroom.
Dr. Amanda Darden, vice president for student experience and quality assurance, told the students she hoped they all walked out of the ceremony knowing they are strong leaders and knowing how special they are to Lander.
All the students who were nominated for the awards, she said, have shown the qualities and characteristics of true leadership.
