Lander University announces Jared Lemus as the featured writer for the 2025 Writer Series. Lemus will be sharing his book of short stories from HarperCollins, titled Guatemalan Rhapsody. The event will take place Wednesday, March 19, at 7 p.m. in the Barksdale Recital Hall (CC 250) of the Abney Cultural Center Auditorium at Lander. The event is free and open to the public.
Author Jared Lemus will host the Writers Series at Lander University in the Cultural Center room 250 on March 19th at 7 p.m. where he will share his book of short stories, titled Guatemalan Rhapsody. Lemus is currently the Kenan Visiting Writer at the University of North Carolina - Chapel Hill. His work has appeared in The Atlantic, Story, The Pinch, The Kenyon Review Online, PANK, Cleaver, and Joyland among others.
