Lander Art + Design to Host Annual Uptown Art Walk

The community is invited to join the Department of Art + Design at Lander University and Uptown Greenwood for the fourth annual Uptown Art Walk Thursday, April 11, beginning at 5 p.m. This event is free and open to the public.

The annual Art Walk is an evening of celebration of student art, local art venues, libations and local food truck fare. Visitors can begin their walk at any of the following locations: the Arts Center of Greenwood, the Greenwood Museum, Main & Maxwell, Flynn’s on Maxwell, Sundance Gallery, Good Times Brewing and the Mill House.

BFA Artist Reception:

One of the big features of the Uptown Art Walk is a reception with Lander’s senior art students, whose work will be on display at the Arts Center of Greenwood between Monday, April 8 and Thursday, April 18. Featured artists include Ana Moreno, of Simpsonville; Caroline Alexander, of Pickens; Colby Burdette, of Ware Shoals; Ethan Lang, of Belton; Georgia Watts Ricard, of Batesburg; Jacob Harry, of Simpsonville; Jericho Lincoln, of Anderson; Kristina Peay, of Greenwood; and Anastasia Muzzarelli, of Mauldin.
