Alpha Lambda Delta Inducts 119 at Lander University

EVNT-Alpha-Lambda-Delta-2024.jpgAlpha Lambda Delta, a national honor society, held their inaugural induction ceremony on Monday, March 25th at Lander University’s Abney Cultural Center Auditorium.

A total of 119 students were selected for the newly formed chapter in recognition of academic excellence during their first year at Lander.

Brittany Brissey, M. Ed., director of Dual Enrollment in the Office of Admissions and chapter advisor said, “The purpose of the organization is to encourage superior academic achievement among students in the first year of higher education; to promote intelligent living and a continuing high standard of learning, and to assist students in recognizing and developing meaningful roles in society.”

Pleshette Elmore, director of the Student Success Center, assisted in the induction ceremony and presentation of certificates and pins.
