William Preston Turner School of Nursing to Host Accreditation Visit

CCNE-TN.jpgThe William Preston Turner School of Nursing at Lander University is hosting an accreditation visit by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE) November 16-18, 2020. The accreditation evaluation is for the Master's Science in Nursing- Clinical Nurse Leader Program.

In accordance with CCNE's procedures, the Commission provides the opportunity for program constituents and other interested parties to submit, in writing, third-party comments concerning a program's qualification for accreditation. CCNE will receive third-party comments regarding programs hosting fall 2020 evaluations until 21 days before the scheduled on-site evaluation. Therefore CCNE must receive comments by October 26, 2020. Third-party comments must relate to the CCNE Standards for Accreditation of Baccalaureate and Graduate Nursing Programs (2018). All third-party comments submitted to CCNE must be written in English, consistent with CCNE's policy on Conduct of Business in English. Comments are shared only with the CCNE evaluation team appointed to review the noted nursing program.
