Lander Psychology Students Earn Second Place in Competition

Six Lander University psychology students earned second-place honors in the highly competitive quiz bowl sponsored by the South Carolina Psychological Association (SCPA). The event was held during the SCPA's Academic Day in Columbia on Nov. 7.

The event attracted teams from colleges and universities throughout the state, including Anderson University, the University of South Carolina Upstate, Newberry College, Limestone College, the University of South Carolina Aiken, Claflin University and Columbia College.

During the quiz, teams from various colleges and universities fielded questions spanning the breadth of academic psychology. The USC Upstate team placed first and USC Aiken finished third.
