Lander to Hold Adjunct Faculty Networking and Hiring Fair
Those with a passion for developing minds and shaping the future are encouraged to attend a special networking and hiring fair for adjunct faculty positions at Lander University.
Hosted by the Office of Academic Affairs, the event will take place Tuesday, May 21, from 5-7 p.m. at the University's Legion Hall, located at 806 Calhoun Avenue near Uptown Greenwood.
Lander's part-time adjunct faculty positions are established on a semester basis to primarily meet academic needs for freshmen- and sophomore-level courses. Adjunct position schedules vary to include days, evenings, weekends and online classes. This event is intended to connect qualified adjunct applicants with departmental representatives.
Most positions require a minimum of 18 hours of master's-level coursework in the discipline (except as indicated below). A master's degree in the discipline with college-level teaching experience is preferred. Qualified applicants for the following areas are encouraged to attend and bring a copy of their current CV for review:
