Lander Foundation Holds 5th Annual Samuel Lander Golf Classic

Golfers from around the southeast teed off at the Greenwood Country Club for the Lander Foundation's 5th Annual Samuel Lander Golf Classic on Tuesday, June 26. The tournament raised over $12,000 to benefit the Lander University Scholarship Program, according to Executive Director of Alumni Affairs Denise Manley '89.

The foursome taking home the gold from Tuesday's tournament was that of Kristin Manske, Cam Monda, Courtney Furman and Walter Roark.

Second place went to Jeremy Caldwell '06, Joseph Engram '07, Chris Rogers '09 and Bucky Caldwell.

Finishing third was the foursome of Kevin Prater '84, Russel Patterson, Andy Johnson and Tim Nation. Prater also took home the award for longest drive, while Michael Benjamin was awarded closest to the pin.
