Lander University business administration major Mihajlo Kozjak, left, of Belgrade, Serbia, has been awarded the Shurden International Student Scholarship. The scholarship is awarded by Mike Shurden, right, Lander professor of business, and his wife Susan. The couple founded the scholarship because they recognized that international students can sometimes have difficulty securing financial aid due to certain restrictions placed on them in the area of receiving scholarships as well as obtaining work outside of the Lander University campus.
