Lake Greenwood Cleanup 2026

Lake Greenwood Cleanup is a large-scale community service event focused on protecting and preserving one of our region’s most important natural resources. The Environmental Science Student Organization (ESSO) has been invited to participate in partnership with Keep Greenwood County Beautiful, Keep Laurens County Beautiful, Keep Newberry County Beautiful, and other local organizations.

Participants will be able to choose a cleanup location around Lake Greenwood and will be provided with all necessary supplies. In appreciation for their service, volunteers will receive event swag and a free lunch. This event is a great opportunity for students to engage in hands-on environmental stewardship, earn service hours, and collaborate with community partners.

Participants should meet at 300 Lake Greenwood Blvd in Greenwood.
