The Great Backyard Bird Count 2026
Join us for The Great Backyard Bird Count service event! Help support local conservation efforts by observing and recording bird species in our area. This citizen science project tracks bird populations and biodiversity, and your observations will contribute to important records.
Details:- Binoculars provided (bring your own if you have them!)
- Pack your own lunch and drinks!
Sessions:
- Morning: 6:30 AM – 8:30 AM
- Evening: 4:30 PM – 7:00 PM
Participants are welcome to attend one or both shifts.
Meeting spot:
Meet in the Laura Lander parking lot (we’ll carpool from there)
