Faculty Recital: Dr. Richard Thomas
The community is invited to join the Department of Music at Lander University for the Spring 2026 Faculty Recital, featuring cellist Dr. Richard Thomas and pianist Andrew Sheffield. The recital, titled “Hidden Gems for Cello and Piano,” begins at 7 p.m. in the Barksdale Recital Hall (Cultural Center Room 250). Selections will include Hélène Liebmann’s “Sonata in B-flat,” Heitor Villa-Lobos’s “Pequena Suite,” and Francesco Cilèa’s “Sonata in D.This event is free and open to the public.
