The College of Behavioral and Social Sciences at Lander University held its inaugural honors and awards program on Thursday, April 19, where students of the college were awarded departmental scholarships and awards in recognition of their academic success.

With an expansive curriculum delivered by award-winning faculty and scholars, the College of Behavioral and Social Sciences prepares students for a broad range of public careers in social services, nonprofit organizations, government, military, and public service.

Housing Lander's signature academic programs in criminal justice and criminology, government administration, homeland security, emergency management and psychology, as well as exceptional programs in sociology, history, and philosophy, the College of Behavioral and Social Sciences provides an academic framework that enhances students' abilities to be critical thinkers and see connections across disciplines.
