The Art + Design program begins the same for each art student – with foundational studio art classes in drawing, design, and art history that prepare students for the study of art or design at the University level. As a sophomore, students participate in studio classes featuring a broad range of media including ceramics, graphic design, painting, photography, and sculpture. This important time of exploration gives students the insight to decide (or confirm) the direction for the remainder of his/her degree program.
