Reducing long-term risks from hazards, including earthquakes, tornadoes, hurricanes and floods which have devastated parts of South Carolina throughout history, is the job of the state’s emergency management mitigation experts.
At a reception held on March 28 at the Lander University Art Gallery inside the Abney Cultural Center, MFA students Katherine Rumminger and Kelsey Wise shared the vision behind their creations on display.
“Visions Unveiled,” the third exhibit of artwork created by students enrolled in Lander University’s Master of Arts in Teaching (MAT) program, recently made its debut at the University’s art gallery.
