Opportunities Outside the Classroom
Work our students do in the classroom is complemented by opportunities outside the classroom.
Various business concentrations open up a variety of opportunities for students to get involved with professional organizations, and all business students have the potential for joining the Beta Gamma Sigma honor society.
Student media gives students the chance to put their skills to practice. LUX is Lander’s collaborative student media studio outfitted with cutting-edge equipment and can transform into a newsroom, a green screen studio, a sound stage and a photography studio.
Students also have the chance to showcase their work. The annual Digital Media Showcase and Bachelor of Design Exhibition show off student talent and the skills they have honed at Lander.
What Our Students Say

I am very happy with my decision to come to Lander... I have a great relationship with many professors, and I could not have gotten to where I am today without them.
Business Administration, Accounting concentration

I felt honored that Lander saw and recognized my efforts to be the best student I could be, and I am beyond thankful towards my professors, friends and family that helped me achieve my potential during my time at Lander.
Graphic and Interactive Media

I have multiple friends I call family who have graduated from Lander, and have had successful careers from the education received at the University. I believe Lander’s rich academic history has proven its worth and will continue to do so for years to come.
