University Policies

University policies present official, non-discretionary expectations that describe accepted standards of conduct, criteria for granting privileges or benefits, or the means of conducting university-related activities across the university.

Policy Coordinator

Matt Braaten, Assistant VP for Planning, Analytics & Decision-support

The Policy Coordinator oversees all aspects of university policy review and approval. The Policy Coordinator works closely with the President's Cabinet and the Board of Trustees Policy Committee to ensure that the adoption of new policies and policy revisions are accessible, up-to-date, uniform, and authoritative.

Citing University Policy

Rather than copying or restating policies in multiple locations (e.g., in procedures, guidelines, handbooks, other documents), references to university policy should include the link to the policy found on this page and/or the policy number (e.g., "LP1.1").
