Animal Advocates is the student arm of the Humane Society of Greenwood. We correspond with the local shelter to provide animals love and support. In the past, we've held fundraisers and blanket drives for the winter months, and we've held adoption events at the local pet stores. We've even hosted dogs on campus ahead of midterms and finals.

The purpose of the Lander Animal Advocates club is to educate the local Lander and Greenwood community on humane animal treatment and well-being, to promote the adoptions of animals at the local shelter, and to organize events and fundraisers to best benefit community members and shelter animals. Our motto is, "healing hearts, one paw at a time." Just as our motto implies, the goals of our club are to:

1. Provide support for community and animal happiness, health, and well-being.

2. Connect community members and animals to benefit each other.
