Labels for Belongings

In order to assist our volunteer staff, please click here to print labels for your belongings. You can print these on standard printer paper and tape them to your boxes/belongings.

Beginning on Wednesday, August 14, students moving into residence halls will not be allowed to pick up their room key and move in until they have accepted/validated charges for the Fall 2019 semester.

I have a ton of stuff! Where do I go to unload?

There are designated unloading areas at each residence hall. Lander University Police, volunteer staff, and Resident Assistants will be there to point you in the right direction.

If you are picking up a key, please park and come to the designated key pick up area. Unloading zones are for unloading only. Please do not leave vehicles unattended in these or any other unauthorized areas.

Do I have to be there exactly at 8:00 a.m.?

No! We have found that the first few hours of the day are the busiest times for traffic on campus so if you’re not an early bird, feel free to come later in the day!

Why is New Residence Hall not opening until 11:00 a.m.?

Due to the location of Brookside and New Residence Hall on campus, traffic can be problematic in this area so we decided to open Brookside and New Hall at different times in order to better serve you. We promise that it will be worth the wait!

I can’t come to pick up my key until after office hours. What do I do?

If you are unable to pick up your key during the times that we are open, please contact our office and we will make arrangements for your key to be left with Lander University Police. If you do not contact us, your key will not be left for you.

How can I make sure the volunteer staff puts my belongings in the right room?

Please print some labels for your belongings (see the link above). You can print these on standard printer paper and tape them to your boxes/belongings. This will help us serve you better once you arrive on campus.
