2019-2020 Charter Renewal

Each year registered student organizations are required to renew their registration through the Office of Student Activities. All student organizations are required to attend the Student Organization Summit as well as completing the necessary paperwork by the deadline. Two representatives (preferably, President and Vice President) from each registered student organization are required to attend.                                                  

Important Dates

  • Student Organization Summit: Thursday, September 5, 2019 at 3:30 pm (LC 200)
  • Advisor’s Meeting: Thursday, September 12, 2019, from 4:00 pm (Lois Grier Room)
  • Charter Renewal Form: Thursday, September 12, 2019, by 11:59 pm


Prior to completing and submitting the charter renewal form

  • Please print and complete both the Advisor Agreement and the Grade Release forms
  • Have an updated copy of your organization’s constitution to attach to the charter renewal form

Flyers and Posters

  • Must be stamped at the Office of Student Activities.  Please bring a copy of your facility approval for the event that was emailed to the organization's president.
  • Include your group's name on flyer
  • Posters may be placed at approved locations ONLY after these criteria have been met:
    • President has received an e-mail confirmation from the facilities coordinator that the room or area has been approved.
    • President has received an e-mail confirmation from the Fundraising Committee that the fundraiser has been approved.
    • Organization has obtained approval from the Student Activities office for any posters/flyers advertising the event. Each poster, etc. must be stamped.
  • Take down flyers after event is over
  • Where to hang flyers on campus


Please remember that your event must be approved by the Office of Student Activities before being promoted on campus.


Student Activities Weekly Digest Submission Form

Student Activities is ready to help you spread the word about your upcoming events! Please complete this form to be included on the Student Activities Weekly Digest. Please submit your information no later than 12 noon on the Thursday prior to the week of your event.
