Hidden Histories: Recovering the Lives that Time Has Forgotten
October 1, 2018 6:30-8 p.m. Carnell Learning Center LC 200 FALS EVENT

Students will gain knowledge of an important issue in the way history is created, that is to say, who produces the historical discourse for any nation or society and what is included and not included in that discourse. Students will come away realizing that you not only can, but you should, question any historical discourse and by extension, any "official" social or economic discourse, and in doing so come to appreciate the contributions to our society that have been made by those who have never been acknowledged by History.

Students seeking FALS credit must provide a valid Lander ID when attending this event.
