Students Fight Back
April 8, 2019 7:00 p.m. Abney Cultural Center Auditorium FALS Event

Students Fight Back is a gender-neutral program that employs everything learned about campus safety over the past 15 years through their original Girls Fight Back program. Expanding their audience lets them complete their mission -- helping men and women stand together as a united front against violence & rape culture in all of the ways they present themselves. They focus on being active bystanders and better allies as well as representatives of enthusiastic consent and teach survivor support, verbal de-escalation skills for your everyday life, and boundary setting. They also help you hone your intuition, awareness, and teach you the basics of personal safety and self-defense. All of this combines to create a Title IX compliant program that is audience-interactive, fun, and engaging. SFB is customized to include campus resources to seamlessly fit into your overall safety plans and is presented by one of our three speakers who are trained in self-defense, personal safety, and victim advocacy.

Students seeking FALS credit must provide a valid Lander ID when attending this event.
