Lander College of Education to Host Transfer Webinar for SC Technical College Students

Lander-Means-Education-Flyer.jpgLander University’s College of Education is hosting a live, interactive webinar for South Carolina’s technical college students who are interested in transferring to Lander to complete a bachelor’s degree in education.

The “Lander Means Education” free webinar, scheduled for 8 p.m. Thursday, May 4, will provide information on Lander’s online early childhood education degree. Attendees will learn how A.A., A.S., or A.A.S. degrees in Early Care in Education or Teacher Education can transfer into Lander, and information about the University’s free application process, tuition rates and scholarships for transfer students will also be covered.

“We work closely with each student to make sure their transfer process is as seamless as possible,” said Dr. Sarah Hunt-Barron, dean of Lander’s College of Education. “Our unique Early Childhood Education program allows working adults to take coursework online in early childhood education, and complete their field experiences and student-teaching experiences in classrooms near their homes throughout South Carolina.”

Presenters will be Dr. Hunt-Barron, as well as Dr. Tamara Pack, assistant chair of Lander’s Department of Teacher Education.

Registration is required to attend the free webinar, and it can be completed at https://admissions.lander.edu/register/LME.
