Forget the madness of Black Friday holiday shopping lines! Shopping for one-of-a-kind gifts is made easy this season with the annual Ceramics Sale of the Lander University Art Department.
The event will be held from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday, Nov. 23, and Tuesday, Nov. 24, in the Commons area of Lander's Josephine B. Abney Cultural Center. Campus and community arts patrons are invited to attend.
The ceramics items are designed and produced by 15 Lander students and alumna Ashley Dever. The sale will include an array of decorative and functional items for gift giving or personal décor.
The event will follow safety guidelines established for the COViD-19 pandemic. Face masks are required inside all buildings on Lander's campus, and social distancing is strongly suggested. Debit and credit cards, as well as cash (no coins), will be accepted for purchases.
